My D has VZ Navigator on her phone. One feature she uses quite often when she’s home is the real time traffic and detour suggestion. Here is a review of the features.

Gee, I wonder if they are on sale at the store itself too? That looks to be an amazing price, considering its regular price @ $63. If you get it at the store, you would be able to avoid shipping charges.

Costco had some great umbrellas–the pair was $10. I’ve taken the set apart & am giving all my board members umbrellas this year. They’re attractive & even have a reflective strip sewn at each tip for visibility in low light. They were $20 earlier with coupon.

I also bought a Leatherman set from Costco for about $23 for both S & D. It included a larger multi-tool & smaller one (that S likes to use to trim toenails, of all things). I went back to get more but they were sold out of them. :(

If anyone happens to be in the market for a stand mixer this holiday season, Bed Bath will combine the current Kitchenaid rebates ($30 or $50 depending on the model) with their 20% coupons, making for a very decent deal on these. Not only that, but through today you can get free shipping on any item over $100 at Bed Bath, which means you can order the specific model (color etc.) of your choice as well.

Mom2M, you’re right that the in-store special is only 25% off & doesn’t nearly approach the on-line deals.

My good deal of the day was not getting a traffic ticket for expired safety check and not coming to a complete stop at a traffic light–got a stern warning instead & promptly went to my mechanic to update safety check.

Other great deals I got were combo leatherman gift pack for $25 @ Costco (the one near our home was out so shopped at the one further away that had it in stock). Also bought a motion detector on/off switch twin pack for our home (tired of lights being left on all over the house all the time). Got some very cute & handy tape dispensers in fully encased plastic round countainers (like the ones they have for babies to have Cheerios on the go). You can refill it with the regular refill rolls and it doesn’t get lint & other gunk when you store it in your purse or elsewhere. They were marked @ $2.49 but were marked down to $1.49 & with the $.50 coupons they had right next to where they were displayed, only cost $.99 apiece. They’re cute & handy stocking stuffers & I’ve already tickled two secretaries/office managers by handing it to them. I think I’ll have to go get some more!

iTunes has a Holiday Sampler of 20 songs that is a free download. Has a bit of everything, and is certainly worth the price ;-)) It was posted earlier in this forum, now buried. May only be today.

Our family just switched to Sprint, and we’re still within the 30 day trial period. When I looked online, I saw that two of our phones, originally $50 after rebate, are now free. Sprint gave me a $100 credit without making me mail back the handsets for a formal exchange.

They were at our local large office supply store. If you look at the 3M website, they have a picture of them with a coupon. I had not seen them previously–look like a large transparent lifesaver in red, blue green and purple. I plan to buy more today & hand them out to help spread holiday cheer without going broke (especially if they still have the $.50 coupon at the store making them $.99 apiece). They’re completely round with a hole in the middle & a small cutter that folds in or comes out, as you need it.

OK. Thanks for the Itunes tip!
I ended up deleted the vast majority of the songs (guess I’m picky on the holiday tunes) but still have a few great tunes left. Pretty cool.

A quick plug for Amazon too…their book prices are amazing. Got the new Dan Browne book for $12 (no shipping cause my sil gives me a share of her prime membership). Not sure how B&N can survive this kind of pricing!

A package of 4 $15 itunes cards for $55.88 at Sam’s - used a $50 Sam’s gift card I already had, plus a $5 Walmart card I received in the mail free.

Pre-Christmas sale at Macy’s. Went to the mall looking for a gift for co-worker.
Lots of sweaters at great prices. Bought one that was originally $44 for $11.91 (including tax).

I don’t know if anyone else would be interested in this - but Barnes and Noble has the complete Jeeves & Wooster series (with Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry) on DVD for $30.
