Your Good Buy Of The Day (Part 1)

With the a sale, online coupon, coupon for using my Kohl card and $50 in Kohls cash, I bought an Instant Pot for $18 on Friday. Have used it once and it was well worth the purchase.

Well
bummer. The chair I ordered yesterday wont arrive in time for the event I need it for Friday. Grr. Will have to borrow one from a friend.

Bought another of those ExOfficio shirts in black because they drape so nicely and love the hidden zippered pocket (big enough for a passport or CCard/keycard). Now I have these easy care shirts in maroon, black and one from Glacier in blue.

Bought this dress today at Steinmart. https://m.macys.com/shop/product/connected-petite-floral-print-wrap-dress?ID=5729574&CategoryID=55596&swatchColor=Navy%2FMelon#fn=BRAND%3DConnected%26SIZE%3D%26sp%3D1%26spc%3D61%26ruleId%3D87%7CBOOST%20ATTRIBUTE%7CBOOST%20SAVED%20SET%26searchPass%3DmatchNone%26slotId%3D26 At Macy’s its on sale for $61.99. At SteinMart I paid $17.96. Oh, and my beach chair should arrive tomorrow! YAY!

@jym626, I LOVE that dress—gorgeous! You got an amazing price too—win/win.

Sounds fantastic!

Got a great deal on a new chromebook for son. Best Buy is having Black Friday in July sale. Samsung 3 Chromebook regularly $259. On sale for $179. Minus $30 coupon for students. Minus $10 reward. Only $139!

Ocean State Job Lot has its summer clearance crazy deal - I got 8 new ceramic flower planters for the back deck, for $64, and earned a $64 gift card.

I returned about a thousand dollars worth of stuff yesterday
so I felt like I was saving money
I had a 3 day “wedding event” to attend, and the Nordstrom Anniversary sale occurred, so I had ordered a bunch of stuff and finally did returns. I still need to decide what else to keep from Nordstrom, and return the rest.

Half-price cheesecake slices at Cheesecake Factory today. But you have to dine-in to get them.

Figs scrubs has 25% off today. I never wore scrubs until I decided to work per diem after retirement. I found a style of their bottoms are as nice as slacks I used to buy at Nordstrom. Comfy and nice.

I probably posted this a couple of years ago when I actually got the dress, but the dress I wore to the wedding I mentioned a couple of posts ago cost me a penny. I purchased it at Nordstrom Rack because it was on sale, and I liked it, but I was going to return it since it’s not something I’d wear often and had no occasion coming up. When I took it back, the woman helping me said it was now a penny, and I could rebuy it. I actually took the tag with me to the wedding, showing the $.01 price.

I had to share this great deal. I bought the dress and love it. I’m not really a dress person, but this is great.

That is a great deal, @ams5796 . Very nice dress, nice choice of colors.

@1214mom - if someone says “You look like a million bucks in this dress,” you need to show the tag and reply, “Indeed, the dress left me penniless!”

Bad pun. Intended.

Can you put the link to the one cent dress again??

@thumper1, I don’t have a link to the dress. It’s a bright sort of aqua blue Eliza J dress. It’s relatively tight fitting, which made it not great for work, with a v neck, and comes slightly above the knee. Nobody would have guessed I paid a penny for it, although the retail price wasn’t that expensive (less than $200, IIRC).

@1214mom You win!!! ^:)^

@1214mom , I wonder if NRack just really discounts the Eliza J dresses for some reason. Last early spring I got two great dresses - colorful, attractive, cute zipper in the back (which I like) - for like $3 each! - not a thing wrong with them and the original tag did say something like $150ish each (which seems ridiculous to me!)

Wow, the least expensive dress I’ve ever bought at NRack was $13. Have gotten several for $40 (normally $80+). Have never seen $3 or $.01 dresses.

On the other hand, just got a bill for supplemental O2–grand total of $18+ for over 2 years of service and supplies (insurance paid $24+ to $30+ per month)! From now on, my price will be $6+ after insurance payments of $24+.
