Speaking of good buys, went through the Rack and the flagship Nordie and did not find anything appealing. Then found an email from Yoox that today was a 20% off day. Ordered the Max Mara jeans I love and have been eyeing on Yoox for a while. They fit perfectly and donât bunch up on the butt because of their (apparently patented) construction. I always wanted another pair but they were impossible to find in the stores here in my neck of the woods.

Just back now since I posted about the weighted blanket. I learned a bit by the comments here about them. The one at Brookstone is 12 lb. D said she really liked it but itâs of a material that gets hot so she woke in the middle of the night and had to kick it off. So, an ok but not perfect review on Brookstoneâs weighted blanket.
The other day, we went to get flu shots for all of us and got $5 off $25 coupon. This morning, there was coupon insert for eye drops, $3 off each of 2 bottles, and 5/$5 Colgate, our fav brand! We bought 6 tubes toothpaste, 2 bottles eye drops and one snack bag for grand total of $20+ instead of $31 plus.
The other day, CVS had marked down recorders (simple plastic instruments like basic flutes used to teach grade school kids music). It was supposed to be $6 apiece but was $.59-.60 apiece. I bought all 19 that they had and we will be giving them out as door prizes and gifts to the patients with breathing problems which attend our support group! $100+ discount on the purchase was quite the score!
They had marked down other school suppliesâfolder paper was $.25, composition notebooks were $.20, file cards were $.10/100, boxes of pencils were $.20, and more! It was only the pharmacy branch we frequent tho and not the others. I called my teacher friends and they stopped by later the same day to get things for their classrooms.
Our local Brookstone is also having a closeout sale,40% off, but mostly out of most stock of everything. The staff said theyâre closing all their mall stores but will still have an online presence. I had no idea.
I bought a Tiffany necklace to wear to a wedding I have to attend in a few weeks. I have some mixed feelings toward the wedding but have to attend (itâs my sisters) and having the new necklace will make me feel a good deal better! Thatâs why itâs a good deal to me
Local Costco had Gloria Vanderbilt white jeans @$4.97/pair! They even had my size and length, so no hemming required!
Bought D, my graphic design person for our nonprofit a Microsoft standard Office suite for $29 so she can work on our nonprofitâs stuff. Sheâs thrilledâit comes with Publisher, Excel, Powerpoint, One Note and Word!
^^Where did you buy MS Office Suite for $29?? I havenât needed to buy it in awhile but I have paid much more than that. Great buy!

Sorryâvery low prices on software. Registration isnât onerous and the savings are very helpful for those of us running on minimal budgets.

Costco has $60 off high end HP office jet printers. We bought 2 in 3 daysâone for us and one for a friend for only $109 apiece plus an extra set of black and extra set of color ink. It was super easy to install and works perfectly!

Very happyâjust switched my hotel reservations from AAA discount to the group hotel discount rate for an event we are attending and room rates dropped to $144/nite instead of higher rates done nites. We are saving over $3-400 for the 6 nite stay!

Today, I was reviewing the Costco coupon booklet. To my surprise, it had the printer we just bought 2 of less than a month ago. We also bought 4 ink cartridge packs. The price of the printer dropped from list price of $169 to $109 when we got it and now itâs another $20 less for $89. Also for every 2 packs of ink you get, $22 off! I got $84 back! The HP printer still works greatâquiet, fast and quick-drying ink!
Also got 2 quarts of barley vegetable soup $5, kale salad $5 and rotisserie chicken $5.
I bought this bag at Kate Spade in Toronto. It was on sale, iirc, 40% off, plus I got the exchange rate difference, so I only paid $180 or so. Perfect bag for when Iâm traveling.
