Today, I wanted to use a $15 gift card to Office Depot. Sadly, they didn’t have wine glass pens but they did have a nice Cross fountain pen with MSRP of $57 on display for $19.99! After taxes and using the gift card, I ended up spending under $6 for this pen — D loves fountain pens and I don’t think she has this one!

The wine markers can easily be found at Bed Bath and Beyond. Take your 20% off coupon with you. Or better…if you have $5 off a purchase of $15 or more, take that.

We did a little tied in ribbon gift one year…wine markers, and wine out (which is something you can put on a spilled wine area).

I got a half - basket full of pencils/erasers that I will be donating to the inner city school for next year - I paid $14 for almost a hundred packages - most were only a dime each.
I also bought a plastic pumpkin for that I can put outside and not fear it will be stolen!
CVS had Halloween candy on sale (hello Christmas stockings)—$1.37 for huge bag of Twizzlers, 100,000 grand bars too. $3.99 for big bag of sour patch (my kids are fans). I’m happy!
Finally figured out to get $19 more for my PQD to stay Silver Premier with United Mileage Plus. We have 4 flights coming up before the end of the year. The cost for us to each upgrade a seat on one leg of the flight was——$19 apiece! Booked the upgrade—done! Phew!
Got a rain check from Safeway that was reaching 90 days after issue expiration. Just went and got 2 dozen bagels and 2 pounds of deli-sliced Black Forest ham for total of $20! It was lunch, a treat to share with neighbor and refreshments for tomorrow’s meeting! Score!
