D and I went to Nordstrom yesterday to look at soft blankets for her dorm - didn’t even know the sale was starting. We got their brand Kennebunk blanket for $26, usually $40 - super soft and lots of colors to choose from.

Macy’s Black Friday in July sale has some great deals. I added some Fiestaware rimmed soup bowls to my collection at $8.99 each.
The sale ends tomorrow.
I went to Kohl’s because I heard you can make Amazon returns there. Yes, you can and they’re delighted to do it. You don’t need the original packaging, just the item and the QR code from Amazon. They scan it in and take care of the rest. I got a 25% off coupon for Kohl’s and my refund went through the minute they scanned the QR code. Of course I then had to do a little shopping at Kohl’s so win win win for me and Amazon and Kohl’s.
That’s why Kohl’s is doing this- to get customers in the door.

Hmmm when I tried to get the Macy’s instant pot, it was much more than $50 and said DEAL didn’t apply.

Shucks, when I tried it, I wasn’t able to get any discount for the 8 quart instant pot. I guess I will wait until November or some better deal.
I suspect but don’t know for sure. But I think the price for the Macy’s instant pot was a one day only price. I’m thinking you tried to buy the instant pot the next day @HImom and it wasn’t on sale anymore.
I say this because I put something in my cart last week late at night to check out the next day and it wasn’t on sale anymore. Macy’s had these one day only prices on this Black Friday in July sale
And sometimes the next day begins after midnight Eastern time…
Thanks for clearing up the mystery. I guess I’m not meant to have the pot at this time. I’m ambivalent about it anyway and only want it if it’s an amazing deal and only the 8 quart.
Goskid leaving the nest (a month visit after grad school). Needed a Queen mattress and wanted a Casper. Never heard of it, but now I’m seeing adds everywhere. Any rate, online the one he wanted was $1049 before tax. Yikes–hope that new job pays well…

I just opened an email from American Girl. The dolls are $98 until 11:59 central tonight. I texted my daughter and she had not paid any attention. So now my granddaughter is getting a new one!!!
