No, abasket,Haven’t tried them but I figured for that price, it was worth a try. If anyone has ordered anything form them, maybe they will post about their experience. Their website says they have been in business since 1981 so I guess they must be doing something right!

Thanks for the cookie link, Sevmom.
I was thinking of sending my S a care package and this fits the bill nicely!
I even added on a $9.99 Halloween cookie platter with free shipping to be delivered on Oct. 29 th.
S will be well pleased :-)

Thanks sevmom! Just ordered cookies!

Too tempting, I am lucky only one kid is in the US; I bought the free cookies, too.

ditto the cookie order - thanks for the info! (actually, we should all have the kids send you thank you!)

Darn, for some reason my cookie order won’t go through. I’ll try later.

Thanks for the link. I just ordered for D who is all the way on the otherside of the country and had them delivered for her birthday in two weeks!

sevmom, I have ordered from Cheryl’s and was completely unimpressed. Sorry to be the wet blanket.

I ordered from them once before for my dad, but he never gave me any feedback (in fact, don’t know if he ate them). But my s will eat anything, so I sent him this pkg of 6. Thanks!

Worrywart, so sorry you were not impressed by Cheryl’s. That is disappointing to hear. However, I figure for a $6.95 investment, I’ll take a chance. My expectations would, I’m sure , be higher if I was sending one of their much higher priced items. Like jym626, my sons will eat anything and I hope will just be glad to get a little unexpected message and treat from mom!

I ordered this cookie special from Cheryl’s for daughter in college last year. The cookies arrived a week after the confirmation said they would and my daughter said they were not very good. They are a reasonable size, just not much flavor.

We should all report back on the quality so we know if WW had an aberration or if they are not worth the time.

^^^Wow, now I feel the need to redeem myself so I’m reviving a couple of related threads for other care package ideas:

No need to redeem yourself! Even if the cookies are awful, knowing that my DS will know I was thinking of him is worth 7 bucks, and if the cookies are terrible they’ll probably play hall hockey with them
(assuming the floor of house they live in ever sees the light of day)

No worries, WW, I’d rather know how they rate than use them again and have it be mediocre.

A pair of LLBean kakhi pants, from the outlet center: $7.50

Sage green tech t-shirt from the outlet center. $11.50.

Singersmom-
I just ordered the bag through Amazon for $72.39. Was able to use DS’s Amazon prime account (free to students-- heard about it here) so will get it with free 2 day shipping !! Thanks!!

Thought I would follow up as I just received my Cheryl’s cookie order. The box arrived with 6 individually wrapped cookies. The gift message was correct. Opened and ate the snickerdoodler.Soft and good. This is not super gourmet stuff but it meets my expectations for a quick, inexpensive way to just tell our kids we’re thinking of them. Only thing is (and not a problem for me as I only sent to me,mom and kids), is there is an enclosed card that makes a point of saying it is a FREE sampling. (as expected, they want you to use the $10 enclosed rewards card to order from them). So, this would not be the best kind of thing to send to a business client, for instance. So, those of you that did order, your kids may be getting their cookies soon!

sevmom - thanks for the update on the cookies. I ordered them to be delivered to D week after next for her birthday.

My DH’s luggage arrived today and my DS called… yes ** CALLED*** to thank me for the cookies!!
Thanks, sevmom and singersmom!!

I will report back when he actually eats one of the cookies.
