Your Good Buy Of The Day (Part 1)

BB: you could practically buy them and sell them for the higher price to the rest of us  Sometimes I wish I were closer to NR, but then again, it’s probably a good thing it is two hours away!

For those needing toys, Target is at 75% off, most stores changing the price either yesterday or today (Sorry, I intended to post early, but ATT didn’t get things fixed). I bought about $300 worth of toys for $80, done with neighbors childern’s bdays and most of Christmas for extended family…I mostly buy things like Cars sets, Thomas the Tank, and, to my surprize a Barbie Cruise Ship. I don’t get the Barbie thing, but the little girl next door loves Barbie and her bday is coming up. For $10, she’ll have a lot of fun.
BunsenBurner, you are inspiring a NR run…

Gilt group is selling the clocky alarm clock for $29 today! THats the one deigned at MIT that sounds like R2D2 and rolls off the nightstand and all around the floor

What is the “gilt group” exactly? The website says you have to be invited to join by a member.

Allthis-
I just pm’ed you. Gilt group is a site with nice stuff discounted.

jym, I don’t see it on there. Which category (men’s, gifts) and sale is it under?

Hmmm-- lemme check. I ordered 2 in black!

Does this link work?? [Gilt Groupe](http://www.gilt.com/sale/women/nanda-home-clocks/product/57840182)
Its in womens-- nanda home clocks

Wait-- on the main page its says its in “home”-- see the photo of the 2 white wheels?

Thanks. Very cute. I had never heard of these.

I bought them as graduation gifts!!

I’m now on the waiting list for membership

BB–My local NR only had one large LC tote left, in hot pink. I had to pass on that color. Next time I’ll try to get there sooner.

FYI Clocky is going for a reduced rate as there is a newer model, Tocky. Nephew got one for Christmas. He is in 8th grade and can seem to sleep through or use snooze button and not get out of bed etc etc. But he is a cute young math nerd, and the whole Clocky/Tocky story along with the clock was a bit HIT. (Not to mention the MIT alum inventor is HOT–his words…)

Daughter found J crew skirt she liked last year, on sale and an additional 40 % off with online coupon. (under 24.00)

I bought 4 toys at Stop and Shop for 75% off Polly Pocket doll set for 1.50 and large playdoe sets were 3.00. (early toys for tots gifts)

sunnyflorida-
I saw the Tocky". Its smaller and a sphere rather than on wheels. But its expensive. $29 I’ll spend on a clock. $69, no thanks.

jym - nice, but if I gave any member of my family that clock, I’d be exiled from the house. My family treasures their sleep - yD used to be on a swm team, and DH used to drive her to her 5 am practices.

( I need to hide my new tote from the young lady who likes to shop in my closet.)

Just found this site of very strange things and thought I’d share here. Free shipping this weekend! [Perpetual Kid- Unique Gifts to Entertain Your Inner Child](http://www.perpetualkid.com/)

^^World’s largest gummi bear–only $29.95…

Great stuff on that site, kathiep!! Thanks for the link!! The hand sanitizer had me LOL!!

BB- I wouldnt have that slightly annoying alarm clock in the house!! I bought it as gifts for others  That said, as I have mentioned many times before, younger s and I bought older s the “Sonic Boom” alarm clock from a hearing impaired website for him in 2004. He used it all through college to get his (#%#*%#%( rear out of bed. Worked well!! Now sure what has happened to that clock…

^^worlds largest gummy worm… $27.95. Just ordered one for DD for her birthday. She loves the worms but not the bears… go figure. This worm is 2 feet long and 3 lbs.

I just want to take a moment to thank abasket for starting this thread. I’ve gotten some REALLY good deals by looking here (the 75% off stuff at CVS really was a jackpot). I check here every day.
