When I try to save an entry on a supplement, it gives me this error:

"Your input contains some invalid character(s). Please look for characters like < or > and remove them from your response.")

This happens even if I enter 'test' in the field. Has anyone else had this problem?

Just a thought…are you using the browser they recommend?

Oh, duh I’m on 3.6, I’ll update to 5 and see if that fixes it

I’m having the same problem. I was using Chrome, but then switched to Firefox and the message is still popping up.

Sounds like a great question for the Support Team. Click Help from within your account.

I’ve gotten this from the Brown supplement, more than once too! It’s really annoying, but it only pops up for Brown’s and no other college’s supplement. Even if I don’t enter any new information after it automatically gathers from what I filled out on the common application part, when I press “save and check for errors”, I still get this message.

I hope this either sorts itself out or they find a solution!

Found a solution: press print preview and it will automatically save for you before showing you the preview.

(You still shouldn’t click check errors and save, though)
