I know in the [url=http://web.mit.edu/catalogue/subje.bycou.shtml]course catalogue, U means counted in the GPA for undergraduate, but can a graduate take some "G" (graduate) courses? If so, will these "G" courses be counted in my graduate GPA?

Yup, you can take graduate classes. Sometimes your department will ask you to email the professor and officially ask permission to take the course, but professors are usually fine with it as long as they don't think you're getting in over your head.

Many courses are joint undergrad/grad courses. For example, one of the classes I'm taking right now is either 7.28 or 7.58, depending on whether you're an undergrad or a grad student. In that case, you don't get to choose whether to take the grad or undergrad version -- you have to take the undergrad version. But that's not a big deal since it's the same class with the same professors and the same lecture time. Usually the graduate students have to do one more homework assignment.

All of the courses you take on grades as an undergrad figure into your undergraduate GPA.

Uhm... I hate to say this, but as far as I'm concerned 9.00 is no longer considered a HASS-D. This makes me sad. :-(

yea, and prof. wolfe isn't teaching it anymore (!)

Was 9.00 used to be a Cl-H class? Will it become a Cl-M class this year?

Yeah, it used to be CI-H.

The course 9 CI-M's are 9.01 (intro to neuroscience) and whichever department lab you choose (9.02 [brain lab], 9.12 [neurobio lab], 9.63 [cog sci lab]). I doubt that will change.
