i'm sorry im not sure how to get the UF GPA i know its .5 for honors/dual enrollment and 1.0 for AP/IB/AICE. but is this just for grades 10-11 or is this all my "Academic Classes" in my entire time in High School? would it tend to be higher than brigt futures, my BF gpa is 3.93, can anyone input on my chances with this new information please?

No one really can say what your chances are because it depends on many factors. What I can tell you with certainty (I work for the university) is that the average GPA for incoming freshmen in fall 2006 was 4.10 and a 1295 SAT score. Good luck!

that's interesting. so certainly (as is always the case) students with weaker admissions profiles were admitted and some with stronger than average were denied admission.

redsunset... can you tell me a bit more details about data mining (if you know) and how it is used? thanks

sounds like ypu may have a good shot. good luck. sounds like you really want to go and i hope you get in.

IB kids at our local school who are either hispanic or have an SAT score that high get in to UF routinely. I'd think one who has both factors in his favor has an extremely good shot.

yea i calculated it and i got 4.05. but i wasnt sure if i should add my IB Design Technology class (IB always requires us to take an IB elective whether it be business, Art, Design Tech, etc.) so i left it out just in case. but with it i went up to a 4.1. its still at the bottom of the 4.0-4.4 average though =/.
