Okay, here’s the breakdown of my numbers (I want to get into Princeton)
SAT I: Reading: 680, Math: 760, Writing: 710 (essay:10)
SAT II: Math I: 770, Chemistry: 770, U.S. History: 650
GPA: 3.9, some deep EC’s, many APs in all core subject areas.
If I want to be a science/pre-med major, will the US history SAT II score of 650 (which is kinda low for pton) hold me back from acceptance? After all, it’s in an unrelated field of study.
Thanks for your opinions!

I don't really know but I think your CR score is too low unless you're an international student or a former ESL student. Also your USH is not looking good either. These are just about your standardized testing. I can't really tell you anything due to the lack of information.

CR is not low! i think you got excellent scores

CR is not low. Is is just me or do most asian test takers seem to ace the math portion of the SAT and always get lower on the CR.. wierd. In his case the CR is very good. 680 is a pretty competitive score, 20 away from 700. Awsome GPA, and ECs. Your SAT IIS are not bad.. 2 770s is pretty good. A 650 will not hold you back. All you need is a good essay and i think that you should do pretty well

Hope his helps

How can you say "Your CR is not low?" He's applying to PRINCETON. That CR score would probably be bottom 20%. That's NOT the competitive bracket he wants to place himself in.

Woah sorry about that.. I misread that part. A 680 would be a little now for princeton
