This is an opinion question for those of you who self study for AP test. Which book do you use in order to learn the material? Was this book helpful? Thank you!
(I am deciding between Princeton Review, Barrons, or a crash course but I would love any recommendations)
I have used a mix of everything. I researched to figure out what others said was the best review book for each exam. I used Barrons for AP Psych, Cliffnotes for AP English Language, REA Crash Course and 5 Steps to a 5 for APUSH and APWH. I’m currently using Princeton Review for English Lit and Us Gov’t, and 5 Steps to a 5 for Macro.
I get both Barron’s and Princeton Review. Barron’s teaches you more than you need to know and with a lot of depth. Princeton gives you what you really need to know for the test. Together, they will both help a lot.
I find that for sciences, 5 Steps to a 5 is best and that Barron’s is good for maths.
