<p>The simple fact that I haven’t done anything drastically stupid yet (get pregnant, drugs, arrested, dropped out of school, etc – no intentions either). and that I’m in a position to make things better in the future. </p>
<p>There are A LOT of troubled teens in my area, who to some degree had to go through more or less of same issues/circumstances as I did growing up. It’s sad where they end up at and what a precarious situation they put themselves in.</p>
