Some of us have already received acceptance from our first choice schools. congrats to you all if you are one of them.

But many schools do not release their decision until early may (or late april incase of certain UCs), so I'm assuming most of us are still eager to find out our result to that special-dream college we've all died to attend.

Just to see how hipped and anxious you are about the waiting, what would your very first reaction be once you've found out that you got accepted to your 1st choice school? Or it doesn't have to be your 1st choice school... could be an acceptance from school that you thought you'd very likely be rejected (i.e. Harvard, Stanford, Berkeley). What's the very first thing you would do?

If I get into my first choice(UCLA), I am sure I'll be super happy. I'd probably go crazy, wouldn't be able to concentrate in class, celebrate with my friends and family etc. First thing I would do is call every close person I know and tell them the good news.

On the other hand..if I get rejected, well, I'll probably cry and sulk.

lol well as for me, if i get into my first choice school (which is also UCLA :)), then yeah I'd be really excited. My heard would probably skip a beat as I read every words of the letter, and then I'll prolly sneak into the living room and yell really loud "I'M A BRUIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" lol!

If I get into Berkeley (2nd choice), then I'd just scream immediately the moment I read the word "Congratulations" and run to my dad and yell "OMG NOW YOU HAVE TO BUY ME THE LAPTOP THAT YOU PROMISED!!!" and dance around a bit.... but I'll still prolly end up at UCLA :)

Dhl3, I remember months back you said you Berkeley was your first choice. What made you change your mind?
(I haven't been on CC for months so if you have mentioned it before I probably didn't see it).

courses and curriculums.
I noticed that UCLA's program had better combination of what I want to learn (Finance & Economics). Not that Cal has uninteresting program or anything, but UCLA is more suitable for my career plan (especially the accounting minor).

Plus it's in So. Cal :)
Nothing beats So.Cal.

but I was in class at the front of the lecture hall, when I saw that I had been accepted I yelled something that I don't recall anymore during a lecture. Picked up my laptop, said sorry, and ran out of the room.

The first thing I would do is probably figure out how many credits at my current school would actually transfer, although I'd definitely choose to attend my target school nonetheless. Then "try" to concentrate on CS, got a final on that two days after the release of decision.

I've only applied to 2 schools, both which are my 1st choices
and I'll probably crying of happiness if I do get into either of them
It doesn't matter which... I'd be so glad and thankful to get into either of them

If i do get rejected...
I'll probably be very depressed
but since I'm expecting rejections from both (which probably will be)
I know I won't be so devastated as some of you will be..
although I don't really have a clear plan B
I think I'll be fine

I believe that everything happens for a reason... :)

LOLol whered u get in claysoul? i expect to do the same....i smiled so much when i got into my 2nd choice, but i expected to...also i found out over the phone and was like omg omg thanksss and called my mom haha
