Your Roomie??

I hope to have a fun-loving chick (hot she has to be, if I'm to share my room with her) or guy, who plays sports and parties quite a a bit, and who's funny and entertaining.
he/she also has to be very hard-working to motivate me.
Geek, or party freak who never works is out of the question (I'd kill him/her for either being too boring and nerdy or loud and crazy). I like to keep a balance between those two extremes.

nice going nick3333, but thats idealism! Be somewhat flexible and u will fit in with everybody!

(I'm surprised at all the worry engendered by the idea of gay roommates. If your same-sex roommate is gay and you're not and say so, it's not like he or she will come on to you anyway. Why all the fuss?)

There's no need to worry, as long as you don't bend over too much.
:P hahahah lame joke. Anyway I'm not prejudiced against gay people, they don't bother me and it makes no difference what their sexual preferences are.
I'm not one to judge other people's life choices. And I wouldn't worry about a gay roommate, it's not like they rape you as soon as you fall asleep.
If you worry about that so much you've either been in prison or watched too many prison movies. Relax

Actually, I think most of us got repelled by the idea of a gay roommate due to adides descriptive representation of a scene. Otherwise, I feel most of us are open-minded people, no one will have problem having a gay roommate, right?

no prejudices.

yeah,i dont think I wud have too much of a problem either

But I wud have a problem with a person who has a fetish for neatness or somebody who smokes a lot

Ugh, yes! No smokers! I don't care if they smoke outside; you can still smell it on all their stuff.
Drinkers, however, are welcome, so long as they share. ;)

my dad smokes and a lot of my friends do (but i dont) so I dont really hav a problem with smoking.
BUT i have this BIG problem with people that dont share.
Especially people that are stingy with money. ugh it's sooo annoying when people won't lend me $1 for a drink at lunchtime when im dying of thirst. and I ALWAYS lend them money when they need it.
So stingy roomies are a big nono to me.

just ask for a sub free dorm if smoking bothers you :)

but you you'll miss out on the alcohol :p

Hey I dont mind that

other people may

I'd definitely miss the alcohol. ;)
I completely agree about stingy people. I hate that! I know people who make you pay back a dime if you borrow it. Does that seem ridiculous to the rest of you too? I hate the constant penny-counting; can't we all agree that eventually, with me treating you and you treating me, it'll all even out?

it does even out too :)
yeah stinginess is going to be a problem...

i exactly know WHO blip wants for a roomie !!!

And don't make me spill it out that you are dieing to get into someplace near MA. I also tend to know whom you would love to have as your roomie!

why dont u both tell us and maybe we can help.... :)

btw - how are things in nepal after the royal coup???

My lips are sealed....just like everything else...Censorship is present in almost everything! I'm surprised that I'm even able to type these words.

The Capital remains as the only safe haven, while the rest of the nations burns as it always had.

Blip did u get admitted at Kenyon?

blip
i really feel for those who are impacted by this. Due to the biased media around the world, we never know what is right and what is wrong. But if u can, i would be very curious to know
a. Do ppl feel that sacking the govt was necessary to go against the maoist?
b. are bigger countries (india, china and US) interferences impacting in positive or negative way
c. will this move just strengthen the armed rebellion causing a long lasting damage to the tourism and other cottage industry.

today, india announced that it will stop providin arms support to nepal and i have a hard time comprehending if thts good or bad for the nepalese ppl (for india's political ambitions it IS good, but @ the end of the day, its about you all)
i understand if u cant reply to this...no worries...
