math 760 cr 780 writing 800 (essay 10; mc 80): 2340
superscore: 2380 (with only change in math, 800)

yaahhh!!! cool beans.

math 760 cr 780 writing 800 (essay 10; mc 80): 2340
superscore: 2380 (with only change in math, 800)

yaahhh!!! cool beans.

I’m not going to read anybody else’s scores because I see a lot of 2300’s and it’s going to ruin my sense of accomplishment.
but I met my goal exactly, 2200!!
680 math (there is a god)
740 CR
780 W (nine essay… oh that snooki…)

congratulations everbody!!! good to see CC kicking butt.

I think the cr curve was -2=780. I had missed 2 from what was said on this site, and I answered them all so if I missed 3 I would have actually dropped to like 760 or below.

24 hunge. 800M/800CR/800W (80/11!)

ecstatic, but that essay 5? probably some prude who doesnt like that I ended the essay mid-sentence. Hey, time’s up when time’s up.

do you guys know what the writing curve was??

2160!!!
670 cr higher than expected
720 math, which annoys me cuz I ALWAYS get 800s on practice
770 writing (76, 10) surprising, I suck at writing usually

I think I can def break 2200 which is my goal!!!

Very lenient. I got 79/10 and 800

Kind of disappointed.

In October 2010 SAT:
800 WR (10 essay), 740 M, 780 CR

March 2011:
800 WR (10 essay), 800 M . . . 700 CR (?!)

@Sk1993 If it is I will not be happy. a -2 on CR should NOT be the only thing keeping me from a 2400.

CR was a ***** curve. i project 800 800 780 760 740 (legit the worst ever)
Writing was an amazing curve.
Math was like super amazing. -1 790 is so RARE these days.

i know me too! that would be total bs!

LAKDFLKDAH;ADLGJ I WOULD GET A 2380.

Critical Reading:780
Math:800
Writing:800

Really? I totally thought I had a shot at a 2400 since I didn’t know the Reading curve was going to be harsh…
But I’m going to try to be happy even though God is clearly torturing me.

Congrats everyone!

i think they made up for the leniency of the other two curves with making the cr super harsh haha

Total - 2040

CR - 660
M - 720
W - 660 (MC - 67 / E - 8)

Well, most of the scores on CC are higher, but disappointed isn’t the really the right words to characterize how I feel about them. I got above 2000, which was my goal for this one, but I didn’t clear it by the margin that I was secretly hoping for and thought was possible coming out of the test. Essay score seemed a little low though. And maybe it’s just me, but the number 660 is just frustrating to look at.

I disagree. A -1 = 790 curve is probably the absolute worst for people going for a 2400. I’d much rather take what CB considered to be a “Hard” test and have the safety net of -1 = 800 or take an “Easy” test and have the curve be -1 = 770. These “Medium” tests suck.

mmm but in recent years curve data hasn’t really shown even medium curves. Oct, Nov, Dec, and Jan all had harsh curves. im happy we got a normal one for once. now the CR…

800 CR
790 M
770 W (76/10 essay)
2360, first time.
so upset about writing, i thought i did really well on it. oh well. yay

So i just took my sats in match and got my scores today
Math 800
Reading 780
but Writing 640
usually my writing score is better but my essay about reality television was terrible, how important is my writing score? Should i retake the sats in june? and what if i retake and get a better writing score but my math and reading go down? I’m going for schools like UPenn, UChicago, Cornell.
thanks!

Either way, if you’re going for a 2400 and the curve is below -1 = 800, you would want the easiest test you can get, right (even a -1 = 760)? That’s basically the point I’m trying to make… I do agree with you that CB hasn’t been making very many “Medium” Math tests lately.

740 CR
760 M
750 W with an 8 essay…awks lol.
2250

Honestly, I am so so so so so so so relieved. I couldn’t even fall asleep properly I was so worried for this thing but, these scores are fine. Except for that crap essay but yeah, I wrote about the Jersey Shore Of course so far people on CC are aceing this thing, lol, but whatever, I am thrilled. Didn’t quite reach my 2300 goal but that wasn’t super serious. I realize I’ve almost written a tiny little essay about my SATS but I am soooo relieved considering my 198 PSATs and the fact that I got a 2250 without any test prep. So relieved. Half of me is like “maybe I should retake, 2250 is ok but not great” but you know what, I’m good.
