I'm just curious to know what some of the accepted students got on their SATs.

If you haven’t already, check their site: [Class Profile](http://www.fordham.edu/admissions/undergraduate_admiss/applying/class_profile_28473.asp)

The middle 50% is 1810-2020/2400 or 1200-1340/1600

i got in with a 1940 sat.

The SAT scores at Fordham have been rising for several years. What was once a “solid” application may now be on the bubble. A score of 1200 is highly recommended for kids to feel somewhat comfortable getting in, but the closer to 1300 you are, or over the better off you will be. Fordham, like most schools, looks at many factors, including GPA, class rank, recommendations, EC’s and any other factor that suits their needs, such as URM, legacy, athletics, commuter or resident student, Lincoln Center or Rose Hill, Business College or Fordham College etc.

Some kids will get in that people will scratch their heads and many will be deferred or rejected that people will scratch their heads. Its just goes with the territory of college admissions these days.

If you get in great! If you didn’t, then just brush it off and turn the page and focus on where you DID get in at another school. Nobody likes rejection. But sometimes the Good Lord closes one door and opens another which is better for you in the long run. And…its just life.

Good luck.

I got in with an 1820

Reading 690
Math 590
Writing 540

Thanks, not so sure if my 1510 is good enough -_- (& thats combined)…

1510/1600 is great.
1510/2400 is…well, check out [The National Center for Fair & Open Testing | FairTest](http://www.fairtest.org) for schools that don’t require the SAT.

my D got in with:

I think more focus is given on the M/V sections. So I can see why people are getting in with low writing scores but high M/V scores. Nylinnej, if you have 1510/2400, then you may want to try another school like CUNY Queens College. You’re about 400 points below Fordham’s average.

I got in early action with a 1760/2400
M-580
R-610
W-570

You’re incredibly lucky.

Yes, well, SAT scores aren’t everything. I’ve gotten into more selective schools then fordham with mine.

I don’t know if this helps, but my ACT when I applied as a 30. I think it calculated to about a 2030 SAT score.

My D got in, too!

Math - 670
CR - 730
Writing - 800

Congrats to all :)

Congrats to you and your D! Hope you guys are attending the information session.

Ohboi that should help. They look at ACT scores as well. That;'s a solid score.
