What about a solid B student - 3.0 GPA w/ SAT scores in upper 1900s?

I got in through early action with v:630 m:540 w:640. This demonstrates that it is not all about your SAT scores. I have a 3.8 GPA, rank in the top 5% of my class, I took 7 AP classes, was a member of NHS, and 3 more honor societies being treasurer of NHS and vp of another one. I aso played tennis all four years, and won 8 district championships in both singles and doubles, 7 regional championships, and runner up in states. I had a really good essay, and excellent letter of recommendation. I also got into Boston College, University of Miami, University of Florida, Brandeis, NYU, Tufts, and Penn State; they are all ranked higher than Fordham. So if you have a strong application like I did, you shouldn’t worry too much about SAT scores.

accepted and enrolled with a…

mine are 2240 with 780s on 3 sats 2s and i got into fordham but to be honest it was sort of a backup plan. dont worry if theyre not that good cause the fact that mine didnt really help me most places i applied makes me think theyre not as important as i once thought

I got waitlisted and rejected two years ago
CR- 600
Math- 580
Writing-720

Now I got accepted as a transfer student… ugh… But it’s not as bad as some of the people here with 2200+ who got waitlisted!! That’s crazy, I guess the SATs aren’t the most important thing to the Fordham ad com
