Your SAT scores

I am applying for Fall 2011 and am an international. Here are the scores I am applying with:

SAT Reasoning:
750M (770), 730CR, 800W - 2280 (2310 Super-score) - my math scores a shame, I have distinctions in international maths competitions

SAT Subject Tests:
800 Math II
800 Physics

So what SAT scores were you accepted with?

you can see all this info if you search under princeton in stats profiles

I know but what I really wanted with this thread was to see accepted students with scores around the same as mine and compare their GPA, ECs etc.

I would post mine here, but I think people are tired of seeing my numbers.

Christiansoldier, congratulations on your remarkable restraint. You are right, we are sick of seeing your scores. Especially when all that is required here is to say, JebarPolsky, your scores are excellent and are more than good enough. Don’t worry about your math score, it too is excellent. Just make sure the rest of your application is as good, and that you seem like an interesting, passionate, and involved human being. Good luck.

Your scores are a little better than mine were, and I was accepted. There are many, many other factors besides test scores that influence whether or not you will be accepted, keep that in mind. That being said, you’re definitely starting on the right foot with your high scores.

with distinctions in international math competitions you’ll be fine- what classes have you taken? analysis, algebra, topology? Princeton as you know, has a small but excellent undergraduate program. For large numbers of talented math students, I would suggest Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Caltech and Chicago in no particular order.

I would expect that they are more likely to think that you got unlucky and got and SAT math award than you got lucky and won an international math distinction.
