Hey guys. So I took the TOEFL a few months ago, without really any preparation, I left an hour early because I was done. I got an 87. Don't really know what it's worth. Put down your scores so we can compare, or ways to improve it. My worst score was the speaking one, I got a lame 19.

I got 114, didn´t prepare either and left a little early, just as you did. I was pretty bored during the entire test... That´s probably why I got 25 on the listening section, which I thought would be my strongest.. Oh well, guess I really didn´t feel like listening.. Got 30 on the writing and speaking section and 29 on the reading section.

I scored 653 on the PBT.

However, my TWE score is 4, that ****es me off.

Wow. And I thought that I did ok. I'm sure I'll be able to hit in the low 100s, but nothing more.

What's the maximum score for a TOEFL test, anyway? I'm really wondering, because they're not really clear about that on the website.

Now it's out of 120. What are the requirements, for good colleges? I know UToronto wants 100. I know 87 is in the high 70% percentile.

I heard UT doesn't require the TOFEL test for some Canadian students who can pass english 12??

I passed English IV. I'm not Canadian though.

113, with my twin getting 118. The IBT's a pointless test anyway, and as we both did it in about 2 hours, that's sufficient. I honestly doubt any top college'll look at TOEFL scores once your SAT scores are high enough.

Yeah, I'm going to take the TOEFL exemption.

My PBT is coming soon, but I am not able to get past 600. Lets see,

You need to score 100 (equivalent to 250 CBT) for some of the top US universities. The TOEFL is a pass/fail test. It's sufficient to hit the minimum.
