My d has taken a look at the Vassar supplement to the Common App. What kind of things is Vassar looking for in the "Your Space" section? Is this another "tell us about you" essay type section, or what?

Thanks.

i think just about anything is acceptable for the "your space" thing (essay, creative writing, poems, music sample, art work, etc.). after all, it IS called YOUR space, not "another essay space" or something.

i didnt do anything for it and still got in. if there is something your daughter feels she can include that will be a nice addition to her app., ta da, "your space" it is. if not, it really doesnt matter.

An admissions officer said when I was there that some kid taped a piece of gum (wrapped) to his space with a note something like "For your enjoyment while you read my app". My sis put some pictures that kind of went along with her main essay (she goes there now).
