Your space!

What are some examples of good things to do for Your Space? I'm usually a very creative person, but I'm drawing a blank...I could submit some short stories I've written but I'm not sure they're appropriate, so hearing about other suggestions/ideas/things that worked would be extremely helpful! Thanks

I applied way back in '96 (I feel so old!), I entered as a prospective Classics major and I submitted some poetry I had composed in Latin for a HS class. And a translation of course.

Latin was my passion at the time, so I was not just trying to show off! (I switched to a different humanities major soph. year.)

You should include something that reflects YOUR passion. It can be passion for anything, not necessarily art, sports, drama, academics, social activism, wanting to end poverty and racism, etc. If you are being true to yourself, you can submit something about how much you love shopping at Wal-Mart and your application will shine because you really believe in it.

Don't feel compelled to do something just cause it's related to a potential major or cause you think it's what the admissions people want to hear... Vassar admissions is all about CHARACTER, so show them who you really are. Good luck.
