What to do...

My son was fortunate to be accepted to all of the schools he applied to. He has narrowed down his list to these:

He does not know what he wants to major in...perhaps psych, but very likely to change.

NYU---liberal studies program---his TOP choice and the school where I can really see him fitting in. He was only given $10,000 scholarship, $3,000 work study and the rest in loans (both him and us). We can afford to pay MAYBE 25-30,000 per year and the rest he would have to take in loans of 20-25,000 per year.

Fordham---Rose Hill--$8,000. scholarship, $9,500 grant, student loans---leaving about $32,000 for us to pay (after the loans for my son)

Univ. of Delaware---- $12,000 scholarship and student loans----leaves about $17,000 for us to pay

My older son went to UDEL and LOVED it, but this son is totally different.

Any thoughts?

That’s a BIG difference in price!!

While your other son was at UofD, did this son visit much & get a feel for the campus, etc? You say he is very different, but what vibes did you get from his visits to UofD?

Also a consideration is the environment - - urban vs rural, NYU vs UofD. What does your son prefer?

So may other questions & factors, too!

Good luck!
