Thanks. It was both laundry day and hilly neighborhood!
It’s November 15! Kicking CC FRIENDSGIVING off!!!
Any time between now and November 30 participate in this CC group “event” by engaging in a health/wellness physical activity - 5k (3ish miles) if you can, more if you want, less if that works for you. IT’S YOUR GAME TO PLAY!
Not a competition but a celebration of health and friendship. Walk, run, bike, row, skate - whatever works for you. Post a story or picture of your activity and any details you care to share!
Beautiful! What body of water is this?
Lake Michigan from the IL side.
I knew it was a great lake!!!
It looks kinda like “something” fell off
Ding, ding!!! Winner of the day!!!
Winner, Winner…Coq Au Vin dinner.
Ok - I got it done - 5k It was sooooo winnnndy I could not do my normal full loop around the lake trail, had to go out/back. Running time was slow. But it was still a splendid day, 60s and sunny.
If you zoom in, you may be able to see the kite surfer.
I only see them a few times a year - here are two of then on land
Y’all are going to be so jelly of my treadmill pic!
Beautiful scenery!
Here we go, though mine might have been more appropriate for Halloween. I got pictures of the beginning, about 10 min into the run when I ditched my sweatshirt and then at the cooldown. And then my favorite gas station pit stop place (which is also by the end).
One hour is a little longer than usual, but it was a pretty good run today - between 6-8 miles. And then 20 min on the bike.
Love this! I wish we could be assured safety because running at dawn or dusk (you were earlier than that) is my fav time to run!
Hopefully the first of a few FRIENDSGIVING fitness haunts before the end of the month!
Chose to run this morning (see above at dawn!) because it was nearly 60 and I could run in shorts! In November! In northern Ohio!
My pic is of my legs, feet and shoes - grateful that they get me where I want to go at age 64.
3.2 miles followed by pup walk for 1.2 miles!
Did my first of 3 days of swimming to get to the 5K today.
