To anyone that hasn’t gotten a letter yet, I just emailed them about it and they let me know when they would be mailing my decision. If anyone else feels like knowing, just email Undergrad admissions.

When did they say they would be mailing out your decision?

^^ yea, I’d like to know as well.

And also for the people who got it online, was it via email, or through their application status check?

“Your application decision for early action is scheduled to be mailed on
Monday, January 3.”

I had them wait to receive SAT scores though, I don’t know if that held them up.

Yeah, I just e-mailed admissions and they said: “Your decision will be sent on January 3.”

I had an arts supplement in addition to my application which is probably why it took a little longer.

“January 15 all students will be notified.”

The guy probably got tired of checking

Why is it that some people got their decision as early as December 24 or got an email saying that they will get it on January 3 while others will get it on the 15th?

"As you can imagine, it is not feasible for the admissions committee to release every decision at the same time. Applications that were complete by December 1 will have decisions by January 15. We are segmenting mailings due to committee review schedules and are mailing decisions as they are made and as the campus returns to normal operating hours on January 3.

Thank you."

Question: are the people who reply to our emails the same as the people who make admission decisions?

I believe they are the same people, or at least work with the admissions officer; after all, people do email them for corrections for their applications and questions.

Best of luck to everyone still waiting! (oh and if there are any rejections/deferrals/guaranteed-transfers/waitlists please post stats cause I’m super curious how selective they were. I know it sucks to put stats up for rejections, but I’ve had to do it too, and trust me, in some ways it can make you feel better lol)
