YouSC Struggles!

Hello, everyone! I just applied to USC. But, I cannot register in YouSC. Everytime I log in, I cannot link it with my Common App. It just shows “Welcome” on the top left. Below that I have 3 items:

  1. Respond to USC
  2. Join Mailing List
  3. Campus Tour

I have a feeling I’m not properly registered for the site. I get this message right at the top when I log in: “Already applied to USC? Register for an account using the e-mail address you provided on your Common Application to access a variety of services, including updates to your application status.” But I don’t see a link to do that.

I had the same problem. I’ve registered youSC account with my email before completing common app, and yesterday when I logged in with the same email I had the same situation as you do. I checked today and it seems like the problem resolved itself. USC probably needed time to process all of the common apps and such and link the accounts.

Did you get an email to create a youSC account? I applied on the 17th and have not received any emails from USC even saying they received my app. I called them today and they did receive it. I didn’t know about the youSC account. Can I create one even if I don’t receive and email? If so, how?

However, mine does not seem to have fixed itself yet. How long did you wait for the YouSC to link to your Common Application? I just want to make sure all my documents were submitted properly :frowning:
