In the GPA section, was it unweighted or weighted?
I think it was unweighted. At least, thatās what I put down.
so the highest could have been 4.0?! hmmm.

Hi, Iām new to this page, but this forum really helped me with the anxiety lol. Since you are applying next year, I want to give some advice. Try to emphasize that you are really passionate about astrophysics without saying it. Like for example, i said I was watching a tv show when I was 8 (im from peru btw) and i said i was inspired by this peruvian woman who worked at nasa, and that despite i didnt understand what she was talking about specifically, i knew i really liked the overall topicā¦ things like that work.
You also have to remember almost everyone that applies is REALLY smart, so you have to stand out. It was easy for me because of my background and how i came here 4 years ago and learned english and being homeless blah blah blah. but like you have to ask yourself how am i different?
and in your extracurriculars, focus on the ones related to astronomy/physics/science, and avoid bragging and at the same time say how much you love doing it and how much you do.
