= I'm not sure as to whether these are worth mentioning on my app... I mean, TASP is super-prestigious and I DID make it to the interview stage, but I failed after that. :( Sooo... to include or not to include...?

College List
"Secret" Unviersity - SCEA. The SCEA makes it pretty obvious. I'm expecting a rejection, but it is my DREAM SCHOOL. Thought it was worth an app...
Amherst College
Carleton College
Kenyon College
Bryn Mawr College
Wellesley College
University of Virginia
College of William and Mary

Sooo... what are my chances? Feel free to be honest - I can take harsh criticism. Have any college suggestions for me?

Thank you all!

Oops. Sorry - I forgot to include the “extra” info…

Recommendations
Both are great! I read my English teacher’s and my History teacher assured me that he’d write “to the best of his abilities”. My counselor’s should be pretty good, too! :)

Essays
Well… I’m think (hoping) that they’re amazing. It’d be kind of embarrassing if I wrote crappy essays… since I’m a prospective English major.

Luckiness
I’m praying to God for a miracle. ;)

BUMP. Pretty please?

The GPA holds you back, but you have good EC’s, good courses (really should have taken a Math senior year), and good awards.

I think that the only college that would give you fits is Amherst. You should be able to get into most of those though.

Oh yeah, chance me back please!

(What are my chances of getting into a good college?)

BUMP! Anybody else?

I’m actually kind of debating over whether to retake the SAT I in Dec. Since I’m not taking a math course, I thought that maybe instead I’d take the Math SAT II. I mean, if I got a 650+, wouldn’t that nullify my 650 on the Oct. SAT I?

Also, I just got my Japanese w/ Listening score (^ listed up there). A few weeks ago, I sent my test scores to - alright - Yale… and then my Japanese test scores came out this week. Is it worth paying $9.50 to send my Japanese score? I mean, I’ve already sent 3 SAT II’s… If the score will boost my chances for admission, I def. will send it! ADVICE, please!!!

Secret (aka Stanford) - sorry, but I think it’ll be a no… I’m applying there SCEA too! =) … it’s insanely hard to get in, so don’t feel bad!!
LACs - reach/high match
University of Virginia - In
College of William and Mary - Not sure

In @ UVirginia, Bryn Mawr, and Kenyon. W&M, Amherst, Wellesley, Carleton would be a reach. High reach at Stanford. Good Luck.

Since you’re already applying to good women’s colleges, you could add Smith. You’d have a good chance there, and could in theory take classes at Amherst, since they are in the same consortium.

Retake SAT 1 for sure. UVA superscores.

Good luck!

^ Thanks for the replies! BUMP?

i think UVA and W&M are reaches but the rest hopefully will work out… good luck!!!

chance me back!
