Zant's Pton 5000....and 1 Bash

is scottsdale yuppyish like palo alto

I dunno, my town is a tiny little hick mountain hamlet with absolutely nothing to do on a saturday night

Scottsdale is where all the resorts are. All the rich and famous people who want to golf or just relax, like Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, even Mike Tyson, they all head to Scottsdale.

Still, I like Tempe better :p It's well developed, and its close to ASU and all the events that go on there (i.e. the presidential debate).

Speaking of that, I've had to do quite a bit of work for the Proactionaries for Social Justice, a student liberal club that was recently started, when I had a ton of schoolwork. Now that I have nothing to do and I want something productive, I've not been assigned anything. Bah.

we have a playboy mansion here =P

i also live pretty close like 3 minutes from jenna jameson ;)

scottsdale has better food =P

ya charles barkley gave our failing car wash at boston market lotsa money :D it made our day

put THAT on your college app! maybe as an ec, I know crude humour but still!

haha be like

expertise in using binoculars....WHAT?!

oh yeah silmon?! i met kerry and the foo fighters at the hotel cuz i was volunteering with the AZ democratic party while checking them into the westin...OH BEAT THAT! hahahahaha :D

"Person who inspires me: Peeping Tom"

Oh yeah? Well Janet Nepolitano came to my house a couple years back right before she was elected governor!

ha ha, no I meant going over and "meeting" her

I met and talked to Howard Dean and got several books autographed,he has a devilish grin

oh damn :( i almost got to shake her hand during her election but then she turned around and left haha.

the bad part about living here is....prom oh god...i spent 500 bucks on dinner last year. STUPID GIRLS. especially since im average middle class wile everyone else just flaunts and wastes their money

Woah, that's a lot.

Ehh, well our prom is in Scottsdale this year anyways, at Monterra near WestWorld.

I won a prom ticket raffle and I'll probably do something hopelessly romantic for my date, like giving myself as a gift inside a giant box!

Haha just remember to cut airholes ;)

that woudl be so awkward, if she opened the box to find me passed out inside

oooooh northern scottsdale =P its all dirt out there but its a really nice building. my freshman year they had prom there and it was supposedly really nice

Yeah, that's wat I've heard about the place.

If I get into Princeton and attend the weekend, I'll be in the same shape as you- having to fly back the day of prom.

oh ur prom is the same day? 16th? whooo!!!! party on! i know some awesome places to eat if u need suggestions =P

that would suck, but then again, you would be accepted to pton so that should more than compensate

Haha sure, suggestions would be welcome. Tell me them in like 2 weeks tho, cause I won't remember them :p

And yes, if it came down to it I'd skip prom for Princeton and still feel like I came out ahead, although I hope that won't be necessary :)

well depends on expensiveness =P

Roys is cheap its like 30ish bucks for an entree
Marquesa is like 130 haha but SOOOO good

they are both pretty close to west orld marquesa is pretty far

Prom will end up as a total of about $80 for my group (the guys, anyways; girls still have dresses to take into account, apparently): $60 for the limo, $20 for a meal at a great restaurant in Austin.

Ah, the joys of group promming versus date promming and having an orchestra concert the week of prom (thus making available a free tux).
