Applying to College

Some of the college applications have a link to attach a ZeeMee video. Does anyone know how much the schools that have the link expect a student to have one? This is the first I am hearing about it. Thanks so much for your input!

I would imagine that the colleges that provide guidance on this topic would say the same as they would for any other supplement. Without knowing the colleges in question, I would guess that the guidance would be that the vast majority of applicants do not/will use it, and it should only be used if it provides something unique that will enhance you application.

While you will spend hours and hours perfecting the perfect application, AO’s will spend 12-15 minutes tops reading it. Additional materials does not equate to additional reading time; it just means that the rest of you application will be skimmed that much more quickly.
