How can I start a club based on meditation, group discussions on Buddhism, and other stuff? I think it would a great idea for a club and it would reduce stress and teach people about other philosophies other than Christianity. How could I start this club, I don't know how these things work.

Also, what kind of stuff could we do besides just get together and have group meditation. Thanks.

maybe do some yoga. we're doing world religion this year so maybe talk a little bit about what is with different religions and what they believe in, maybe make a game about it in the end, that'd be interesting...

to start a club in our school, you just ask a teacher if they're interested in supervising it then if they say yes, then you're good to go. typically though you should ask your friends first if they want to join so that you'll can drag them if nobody shows up... then during the course of the year, you can recruit other people

Yeah I just asked around about starting a club. My school doesn't have clubs so I had to find loopholes, and I did. You probably need to find a teacher sponser. That should get you in the door.

I think a Zen Club would be amazing. I'm thiking of how stressfree life could be with that. Simply amazing.

I don't think our school has any sort of religious clubs - the closest thing is philosophy club. I'm not sure if religious organizations are approved in high school here (since it's MA). I wish there were some though.
