ZOMG NEW Connect with Facebook Feature

Sweet new feature.

But I'm still not friending you losers.

Ehh I’m not using it, no way I want CC **** showing up on my/my friends feed.

Uhm, what?

Ha ha they think I want people to actually know I use CC? lol

Actually, there are probably posters here who would love their friends to see their sweet stats!

Lol despite having over 50 CC people as friends on FB, I still keep it on the DL, only like 2 people IRL know I use CC.

Why do you hide that you use CC? The only reason I haven’t told anyone is because it never pops up in a conversation, and no one has asked.

Can someone explain this new thing on Facebook? I don’t understand =o (I only use Facebook to talk [no games or anything]).

Have you added me on FB, zap?

After you connect, it just gives you notifications whenever someone responds to your threads/subscribed threads. You can turn it off. It also posts on your wall/newsfeed whenever you post a thread. You can turn that off too. (Probably should)

I used the facebook connect but i’m disabling it’s ability to post on my wall. That way nobody will know…

Just doing it for convenience.

I can’t imagine anyone actually using that.

This .

No one I know in real life knows I use CC. Or anything even remotely like this site.

I only have one CC fb friend. That’s enough for me.

Right back atcha buddy.

^Lol, no one in real life knows that I use CC either.

You only have one CC FB friend, fairy_dreams?
Who could that be.

I don’t understand?

What’s the big deal? I don’t care if anyone knows if I use this site or not… hell… I’ve learned more here then I could anywhere else.

My ACT scores will probably improve from the tips I’ve received.
It’s help me choose what colleges I’m applying to.
And also other various information thats been pretty useful…

So many people embarrassed OMG my friends can’t find out I use this site.

But, then again, I’m not a top quality student… going to my public state university or a mid tier private.

^I’m not saying I purposely don’t tell anyone, it’s just no one ever asks. Personally, I don’t think it’s a big deal to hide it either.

^It’s the same reason I don’t walk around telling people my test scores. Is it a big deal if they know, no, but it just pushes you deeper into the stereotype, so to speak. I agree there’s a wealth of information here. This site helped me decide to retake my ACT (a great decision), has helped me narrow my schools list, and I even found out about diversity weekends that 3 of my top schools pay to fly you out to see the campus. So I don’t regret joining - it’s been an invaluable part of my college search, and there are some very knowledgeable people on here. But I doubt any of my friends have the slightest clue this site exist, and it’s tough enough looking at top schools on it’s own - I don’t need to enforce the stereotype. Just look at the CC urbandictionary entry. Wow. CC’s my dirty little secret, my secret weapon for colleges, and that’s the way I’d like to keep it.
