Howdy gentle folks, I am currently caught in a struggle… I can go to a college for Zoology to get a Zoology major and hopefully become a Zoologist. Or I could study general Biology in colleges closer to home (which is worse rather than better honestly) and this could be cheaper in the long run. I am just confused as to which I should choose. Any help or advice would be very appreciated.
Can your family afford the universities that have a zoology major?
Can you become a zoologist with a general biology major? I’m guessing you can. I think zoologists need graduate degrees anyway, so it’s probably possible for you to major in biology and then get a master’s or PhD in zoology to be a zoologist.
