zZZ...How much sleep do my fellow ccers get daily?

:)
I feel that I sleep too much:(.can't help it....I go to sleep at 10 everyday and wake up at 6.
I want to get a lot of things done but every day the sleepiness kicks in too quickly.
So how much do you guys sleep everyday?

In a general sense I have the same schedule as you do (bed at 10 rise at 6), But I have a tendency of occasionally staying up real late for several school days in a row(usually toward the end of the school week) and crashing on the weekends. I also procrastinate a lot, so for most big assignments I end up staying up late trying to get them done.

On weekends I sleep 11 hours plus. I really love sleeping, to the point where it’s practically a hobby of mine (I have a dream obsession)

I have a terrible sleep schedule. Its really unhealthy.
On weekends I sleep about 14 hours. On school days I sleep about 1-3 hours. I just don’t have enough time in the school week

I sleep at like 2 and wake up at 6. So jealous, but then again I sleep 11 hours plus during weekends also. :D

6 or 7 hrs every day but depends on if I have sports meets/games or if I procrastinate a bunch which I usually do…

I get 4 hours MAXimum on average for school days … Sucks.
I don’t even know why! Main reasons is to stay up studying for a test because I procrastinate … Other times, even when I don’t even have lots of schoolwork I end up sleeping late. My body’s just used to the 4 hours. I just can’t sleep and can never get a decent amount for school nights. I think I have a problem. I’m jealous of people who are able to sleep 7 hours a day. So jealous.

Tonight I’m staying up till 2 to study for my AP bio test. Crap.
Butttttt, I did have an hour nap earlier.
Ok, I’m off on a date with my bio book now.

tipa891:
LOL:) I have these really great blockbuster-potential dreams too.
I usually stay up a little later before tests but not so much before due dates.

Approximately 6-5 hours, plus random naps throughout the day (AP English, when my parents drive, etc). That’s 1-6a.m. during the weekday and up to 10 hours on the weekend. (I can’t sleep longer than that, which is quite disappointing.)

How can people survive with 1 hour of sleep???..You fascinate me…

The past week:
Sun. Night: 3 hrs
Mon. Night: 2.5 hrs
Tue. Night: .5 hrs
Wed. Night: 11 hrs (I fell asleep at 8pm by accident… Woke up at 7am having done nothing. “SHI- SHII—!!!”)
Thur. Night: 2.5 hrs
Fri. Night: 2.5 hrs because I watched the GSL March finals with some friends
Sat. Night: 10 hrs?!?!
Sun. Night: 5 hrs (6am-1pm. Went to a party then GSTL2  )

I think I need to make up some sleep debt over spring break.

Really you get used to not sleeping much. But you have to consistently be like this. I had a normal sleep schedule for a few weeks a month ago, and the first days of staying up again were horrible. By maybe the 4th day of this, it was okay.

@ktk: What was Wednesday school like?

I feel that the number of hours I sleep is inversely related to how awake I am. The less sleep, the more awake. The more sleep, the less awake, but then I crash (hopefully during the weekends)

Am I strange?

5-8 hours. I’d say 6.5 median sounds about right.

Not enough. I’m a natural early riser, so I wake up by 5:00 during the week and rarely sleep past 7:00 on the weekends.

Mostly 8 hrs of sleep. I usually sleep at 11pm and wake up at 7am. Still my grades are good :)

Otherwindow, you mean Thursday school? I thought I had a biology quiz that day, but it fortunately was moved to the next period. But
P1: Theory of Knowledge - no homework here ever, thank god… i did half of my physics
P3: Physics: took a 50% in homework for the day, I hate the class. I have a 9x% so I’m just coasting. So I did history homework during physics
P5: History: Didn’t get called on during class, so I did biology homework during history
P7: Biology: no problem, haha

I find it a bit ridiculous that people still get 9-10 hours of sleep. T_T

Never more than 4 hours. Usually 2, but if I am actually occupied by something I will discard sleep altogether for the night.

8-9 hours… But I am afraid for football season this year… Practices ending around 5 and tons of homework on top of that…

Ktk: you’re mocking me…I have school and then swim practice and/or a club of some kind,I get home at 6 then I eat and watch the simpsons/family guy;) (yeah…I probably should cut that out) then homework for an hour. I review read self-study before dropping dead at 10.

Well… I get home at ~ 4-5 on most days, 6-7 on busier days. Then I work on my most important assignment of the day; procrastination, which occupies me till ~11. Then it’s time to work on homework… I heard our district starts pretty early (at 7:30) I wake up at ~ 6:30. I probably get ~ 5 hours average, though I easily get 2-3 on cramming nights.
