zZZ...How much sleep do my fellow ccers get daily?

<p>I usually get about 6 hrs of sleep or less… but i think that its just because i get home really late and still have all my hw to do</p>

<p>You people really should try to sleep more.</p>

<p>I usually get 6/7/8. 7 is the golden number. If I get 6, I’m tired as ----. If I get 8, I feel groggy all day. 7 is perfect. Speaking of 7 hrs of sleep, if I go to bed right now, I’ll be right on schedule.</p>

<p>I get about 3 on weekdays and around 12 on weekends. I play sports after school, and when I get home, I usually have to cook dinner and do some other household chores. I usually don’t start my homework until 8 or 9 PM and I have to get up at 5:45 to be ready for school at 7.</p>

<p>on school nights, about 7.5 hours, unless i have a lot of hw [less] or a sleep-in [more]. i try not to get more than 10 saturday night so i don’t throw off my sleep. Breaks [as in now], it’s closer to 11 hours a night [plus cat naps]</p>

<p>slashh… i have saturday classes :frowning: so i only have on free day [granted, wednesday and saturday are half days… but i still have to wake up early on saturdays]</p>

<p>For some reason, the past two days I’ve been falling asleep at 6pm and waking up at 4am. I then do homework for a few hours before school.</p>

<p>4hrs on average. 8-9hrs on friday and saturday night. If I sleep more than 9 hours, I actually find my entire day will be groggy and sleepy. I haven’t ever been like this before IB…=(</p>

<p>i usually get 5-6 hours during the school week, more due to stress and subsequent trouble sleeping than to too much work. more like 9-10 on the weekends. i should probably get a little more sleep during the week but no matter what it just doesn’t happen…</p>

<p>6 hours on weekdays (sleep at midnight, wake up at 6:15)
Anywhere from 10-12 hours on weekends. It’s really weird waking up and realizing that if it was a weekday, school would already be over, haha.</p>

<p>I don’t understand how people can naturally wake up at 7:00 in the morning. Craaazy.</p>

<p>My sleeping schedule:</p>

<p>In bed by 11.
Woken up at 11:30 by the sound of my brother coming to bed and trying to talk with me.
Asleep by midnight if I’m lucky.
Up at 5:30.</p>

<p>I’ve been doing this for two years. Mornings are a living hell.</p>

<p>a lot more now than I got last semester… last semester, I’d be working on homework or studying until like 8 or 9, and I’d have “Me” time from 9 till like midnight or later, when I’d go on Youtube, Facebook, exercise, etc. Now, I barely have any hw, have waaaayy to much free time, so I’m usually bored by like 10:30 and then I’d just go to sleep. I wake up at around 7:15-ish. I haven’t stayed up past midnight on a school night since last December. =P</p>

<p>I go to sleep at about 10-11 and wake up at about 6-7. So I get between 7 and 9 hours of sleep a night.</p>

<p>Unfortunately for me, I have insomnia, diagnosed about a year ago in my sophomore year! Makes my sleeping schedule a bit wacky when I’m don’t take my medication, haha.</p>

<p>Recently, my day has been:</p>

<p>4am: Wake Up</p>

<p>4am - 6:20 am: Study, catch up on News, Do Homework</p>

<p>7am - 2:50 pm: School</p>

<p>3:30pm - 4:40pm: Watch TV, Read, Do Homework</p>

<p>4:40pm - 5:10pm: Do chores for mom (such as going to the groceries, picking my sister up from places, etc.)</p>

<p>5:10pm - 8:30pm: Do Homework, Study</p>

<p>8:30pm - 9:00pm: Chill</p>

<p>9:00pm - 4:00 am: Sleep</p>

<p>I used to be such a late sleeper… I dunno what happened.</p>

<p>5-6 hours. Too much and I’m groggy, too little and I crash as soon as I get home.
I go to bed at 12 or 11ish then wake up at 520 to run for a half hour or so. Then ge ready, eat, …school at 730 .
School from 730-230, extracurricular or sports till 4ish most days.
Procrastinate till 7ish, eat till 8, then do homework for a few hours.
With the massive loads of homework I’ve been getting lately I’ve cut some of the slacking and gone to sleep a bit later than usual. So I’m getting 4 or 5 hours this week.
Weekends are 7 hours. Asleep at 12 on friday and up at 630ish to run.
ON saturday night, depending on if I do anything, I’m either asleep by 130ish or 2ish, and then asleep till 8ish to run.
If I do nothing saturday night I sleep at 10:00 and wake up at 7ish to run.
I don’t mind the schedule, and its not too extreme like most of the ones here.
I’m amazed at a consistent 3-4 hour sleeping schedule.</p>

<p>I probably average four hours, though it greatly varies. I’ve been trying to get to bed at like 11/11:30 (must wake up at 6:30), because on four hours by the end of the week I feel like crap and I can’t go for a run. If I weren’t training for a race I wouldn’t give a **** about when I sleep, but I suck on minimal sleep… Anyway, weekends I get like 12-14.</p>

<p>5-6 hours. Hoping to be in bed tonight by 1</p>

<p>6 to 7 hours on weekdays, about 11-12 ish on weekends. So from midnight to six or noon.</p>
