My husband and I like to go on “guided” active vacations.
We usually do bike tours or multi-sport tours (hike, bike and kayak, for example).
We’ve gone with multiple companies, including Backroads, Wilderness Voyagers and Sojourn.
I know Rick Steves has been mentioned and discussed here.
Any other recommendations?
Our next destination will likely be Italy, but that may change.
Thanks in advance
My inlaws enjoyed Trek and Country Walkers.

All of my vacations are active. I just book an active tour each day through Viator. I don’t think you need to stick to one company.

REI tours are highly recommend by my friend.

ETA: I see that you want Italy. They used to do international travel, but it looks like it is just the US for 2023.

I agree Intrepid has very active itineraries. My kid just completed one of their 18-29 tours. She went to Turkey and she didn’t get much sleep, haha. They kept her very busy.
They do have a good rep, but think about how active you actually want to be, as I don’t think they build in much down time.

The Mountaineers out of Seattle used to have serious hiking vacations in the mountains of Europe, though I don’t know if Covid changed that.
