Delete “often” from the above sentence. It’s different now as a ~14 year old, but (I hope) when you get to your 20’s and beyond and dealing with life and a career and family that there is a reason why we should not sweat the small stuff. Good luck.
@squ1rrel I think you have learned a lot. You have learned what matters and what doesn’t (or maybe you’ve know that all along), and have done a really good job holding your own with a bunch of adults with differing views. These are skills that will serve you well with school and career and everything else.
You are going to drive yourself crazy with all the ways you want to get ahead - 2 points here in math, switching from soccer to cross country, trading off a B+ in one class with an A+ in another. Just do the work, do it on time, enjoy your sports.
