damit...gpa problem. what else do u suggest.

a while back i posted a thread asking u guys what i should do to bring my gpa up. couldn't find my original thread but i will give u the background:
3.0 gpa
bombed precalc midterm this year and got low b's throughout the year

failed first quarter of english.(which totally doesn't make any sense. how do 2 classes have so much weight on my gpa...)

so those things brought my gpa from the 3.3 it was to a 3.0.
i was talking to some of u and u guys suggested retaking precalc over the summer and take other courses to boost my gpa up. the only problem is i don't have THAT much money BUT i talked to my mom about it and she said that she will pay for it if need be but i need to get a job as well then for the summer(which is perfectly fine) she also said that if i want to avoid paying her the full amount i should do well and maintain a 95+ average in the courses and then i would only have to pay her back half. So i told my mom to talk to my guidance coun and she got ****ed cause she hates me lmao. she knows that i was not commited to school at all and now that i am she is angry cause highschool for me is basically over. i have to go talk to her on monday with her.

as for my failing english grade i talked to my english teacher and she bumped it up to a D. i have to still make a meeting with her on Monday so i can make a proposal in order to bring it up to a B/C range. The plan is that i do a crapload of extra credit work AND if i can land a 95 or higher on her Final, she lets me have a B/C. I hope this will work out.

i was also thinking of another option i could take. That is to retake these state examinations in NY at the end of the year. I got all B's on them and if i do retake them they would definetly boost my gpa up to like a 3.4+ i think. only problem is that i would end up retaking 9 different state exams which would cost me a 100 dollars per a test. going to have to work had and on overtime in order to pay for this and the precalc course.
