07/08 Laptop Announced

<p>I have been monitoring the Rose-Hulman admissions message board, and the 07/08 laptop was just announced yesterday. It likely won't have Vista, which I think is a good thing. It also is mostly Linux compatible, which is a good thing. Below are the laptop's specs:</p>

<p>In other news, I am pretty much set on Rose-Hulman, and I am planning on going there.</p>

<p>It's a nice laptop they have selected. I could have done with a better graphics card, but even still it is an excellent machine.</p>

<p>By your username, I assume you use slackware linux? Good choice of OS :-D. The ATI graphics card in that laptop puts a slight roadblock in linux plans, but I'll deal with it.</p>
