1, 2, 3, or 4?

Which year is considerd to be the most difficult year in College (Eng.)
fresh, soph, jr. or sr.?

I'm pretty sure the fresh could be the easiest...

so it must be the senior yr.

Personally, I thought freshman and sophomore years were the hardest. Of course, I went through engineering back in the days when dinosaurs roamed the earth. (LOL) The general consensus in my day was that freshman and sophomore years were used as 'flunk out' or 'weed out' years. It seemed that after I got through the general requirements and into my major, things were easier.

My S is a sophomore in engineering at the same uni that you attend. He knows several students who transfered out of engineering into DUS during their freshman year.

I think it is pretty major-dependent. So far, my freshman year has been a breeze. I'm in BME right now, but one of my CS friends said his hardest year was sophomore. Some say junior year (because, just like in high school, it's the most important for admissions to grad schools), and some say senior year, because they are working on a thesis, and still have to do some classes. I'm really not all that sure.

so what did you major in karp?

(well, I'll have to apply to a major next semester)
EE and IE are what I'm most interested in. I still haven't decided which one.

the hardest class i have right now in Phys2, and the difficulty w/ this course makes me think that its better to go for IE.
