1 Major, A Minor, or Double Major; which for Law School?

<p>I'm currently majoring in Political Science and I like it just fine. I might get an emphasis in International Relations.</p>

<p>Will Law Schools think I'm lazy if I don't pick up a minor? I'm pretty content with just staying with the Poli Sci major and no minor. </p>

<p>As a Poli Sci major, I currently have a 3.67 GPA and I'm transferring to UC Davis in the Fall of 2012.</p>

<p>How are double majors viewed?</p>

<p>Okay, just realized I need 180 units to graduate from UCD. How does this look for a law school applicant: Poli Sci major, with a double minor in history and english?</p>

<p>Law schools aren’t going to care either way. Do whatever you want.</p>

<p>Law schools pay more attention to GPA and LSAT scores. It would be to your benefit to maintain the highest gpa at whatever cost possible, which may mean just one major and no minors, or whatever combination of majors and minors.</p>
