Okay so is it really nerdy that I've drinken coffee out of my Yale mug for every day for a really really realllllly long time now for extra luck?

yes, but if I had one I would do it too. lol. Hope it works out :)

I've got a yale hoodie that I wear every chance I get. There are two reasons for this. First, I figure it might bring good luck, and second, I know I won't get to wear it ever again if I'm rejected so I might as well wear it as much as I can now.

lol so what would do you do w/your yale hoodie if you decided to go to harvard??

Nah, didn't apply to harvard. Didn't apply to princeton. Want to go to Yale. Really bad.

After the deferral, I would rather be rejected and be able to get on with my life....I've waited too long for Yale already.

Then get waitlisted of course....I would looooove to get in.

I have a Yale shirt that I wore pretty often.

Until I got deferred.

I didn't get a Yale shirt until after I was deferred.

I'm waiting until decisions to get my college hoodie....don't want a relic of disappointment hanging around afterwards if IT happens.

I have a yale t-shirt that i wore: when i took the toefl, sats and my most important high school examinations.... it brought luck then!

I also wore it the day i was deferred, and i'm going to wear it again next thursday and i hope it will bring me luck then!

and yes, i know i am the most pathetic of all of us, but i dont care!

:)

I decorated a christmas cookie in the shape of handsome dan before EA decisions. I hoped it would bring me luck, but that worked about as well as the blue ohio cookies my mom made before the last presidential election...

A friend of mine was obsessed with Stanford for years and years. She went to their summer camps, did online courses with them - the works. She owned all the paraphenilia and was then rejected RD. She proceeded to destroy her hoodie, mugs, t-shirts, etc. I guess that's a great way to get out any stress, right? In any case, she's as happy as a lark at Georgetown, so...que sera, sera, whatever!!

LOL! Sorry I found the comparison to the cookies amazingly funny...but good luck to you! :)

hahahhahah you and your mom sound AWESOME :D come 2008 i am definitely making blue cookies

lol chrismas cookie decorating at my house is a bit of an interesting experience. you get the normal ones, like trees and bells etc... but since my family gets bored easily, they eventually start getting a bit creative. This year we ended up with a bear, a sunny side up egg, and the rocky horror lips, among others. My grandmother has a reputation for anatomically correct reindeer... What can I say, my family's pretty unique.

haha I like how this (more or less) turned into a discussion about cookies :p

5 days, eh?

mmm baked goods.
when i got in my friends baked me blue cupcakes that spelled "Yale <3 Ed"

i want a cupcake now

omg liek cupcakes!!1111

aww, edmYale, that's so cute.

if i got in to yale, half my friends would probably hate me for "taking their spot." but, like, in a good way.

anyway, 5 days left!
