Ahh, I might as well go to bed.

and while you guys are posting all ur ECs…
I’m president of a club and I am a lifeguard. Thats basically it.

The CC crowd tends to substantially outperform the general applicant pool, so I won’t be surprised if >50% of you guys get in. Good luck.

Treasurer of Honors Society, Treasurer of Operetta club (have participated in plays, principal role last year), Vice president of my school’s chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America, Theoretical Astrophysics project Freshman year, and National History Day project freshmen year, both placed at state competitions. Knowledge Bowl for 4 years, XC for three (didn’t participate this year because of serious concussion), and this summer I attended a 4 week biomedical research academy at the University of Pennsylvania which I funded completely via community support that I raised myself. I’m first generation and low-income though I think JHU is need blind.

I’m applying for BME so I know my stats are probably a little on the low side, but I feel like I wrote strong essays and my recommendations are extremely positive. SO nervous that tomorrow I’ll get accepted to the college but denied BME

@Anouchi I want to hit 2000 hours by the end of the year. its definitely possible. PS i see you like key club? i founded one at my school its so fun!

Honestly guys, we are all more than capable. HOW ARE THEY PICKING WHO GETS IN?! I hope we all do (:

I put biology as a general major because I wasn’t undecided (I want to do something in science and possibly double major in something like anthropology but I’d have to see if that’s possible) but I think I might change it to something more specific like neuroscience because I’ve heard a lot of positive things about that major at Hopkins in general.

@ayjaytee
are you planning to pursue neurosciences in the future? i.e. neurosurgeon? I’ve always wanted to become a neurosurgeon, but my problem is that what if I decide it is not what I want to do… then I have spent a lot of time on the specific major rather than some other broader one such as biology, physics, or chemistry

hope I get in… I need a miracle tomorrow.

you dont get advantage for applying to “easy” major right?

SIGHHHH.
Good luck to everyone tomorrowwwww~
I won’t be home until 6 or something so I’ll be super nervous all day o___o

^^^^^especially with exams this week, its been killing me

@candynobad373: Key Club is amazing, the only service organization that makes service fun imo. I’m trying to hit 600+ before I graduate, it’s probably at 500 something right now.

I’ve been following this thread, but I just registered to join you guys tomorrow when decisions come out!
Good luck to everyone!!!
