<p>A friend of my daughters printed a calendar off the computer and put everyones birthday and e-mail address on it. They keep in touch with old friends as they make new ones. Sometimes a birthday wish from old friends comes at the perfect time.</p>
<p>Your local dollar shop may have some nice items for very little. That and a $5 Dunkin' Donuts card, or movie ticket can make nice gifts. I went to a gathering where someone bought one of those metal photo trees. Instead of photos, she clipped gift cards onto each of the wire clips. Each recipient was allowed to choose from the tree. She said she sometime does put photos on the tree and people can pick the ones that feature them.</p>
