101 things you like about USC

65.) Making love with a Trojan. :)

The attitude is not super-competitive like many other similarly prestigious schools. (Students do well in classes and the student atmosphere is nice.

67) The number of career opportunities in LA

68) GREEK LIFE - I can't believe no one has mentioned this. The social opportunities within the system are tremendous.

69) Galen Athletic Center (the lunch hall, not the basketball court)
This is where athletes eat, but it is open to all students during certain hours.
It is a little more expensive than other places (typical meal w/o drink is $8-$9), but the food is high quality.

70) IM Sports/Clubs. Sooo many clubs it's ridiculous. Heavy participation in IM leagues make them a lot of fun.

71) Tirebiter! George Tirebiter was originally a scraggly, mixed-breed dog

72) Hearing the USC marching band play on campus at 10 pm during finals week.

73) why, coincidentally enough, EE101...

with Mark Redekopp of course :D such an amazing class. speaking of, have a final in that tomorrow morning at 800AM...

Bump.....just 27 left....

74) ECON-203 (Microeconomics) with Professor Al-Sabea
75) ECON-205 (Macroeconomics) with Professor Al-Sabea

^^^ is that because he is a good professor or is it because his class is easy?

Probably both to an extent. I have him now for ECON-205, and so far, we've been entertained with interesting stories.

76) The campus isn't overly huge, so that makes it convenient to get across campus in about 10-15 minutes... even less with a bike/skateboard/something on wheels.

77) Career Planning & Placement Center. They hold many information sessions, have on-campus recruiting, and so forth. I plan to utilize it a lot more this semester and next year.

Seema like a perfest time to bump up this thread....

78) The energetic, dynamic and vibrat community of us cc'ers

Thanks aj for bumping it.

Sorry if this was already listed.. I read all of them but forgot some

80) Fantastic learning environment... come on, the campus is gorgeous. admit it.
81) Millions of opportunities in LA, one of the most important cities in the whole US
82) diverse & you meet people from everywhere
83) not to be blunt, but i'm doing business.. and USC is filled with rich people (come on, we all know it's true. if you don't have some cash, you can't really go since they rarely ever provide full rides) these people will be your friends, and they will REALLY help you in your time of need
84) famous people. let's face it. networking is important.
85) beautiful school colors. really. it's like ROYAL. gold and wine red.
