<p>If we’re still talking birth control… I’m on the pill and I love it. I’m not sexually active right now, which means I can mess with my dosage to make my periods more convenient. Vacation in two weeks? I’ll just skip a couple of pills to make sure my period comes early, and then I won’t have to worry while I travel. It’s great.</p>
<p>Of course, you need to make sure that you’ve been taking the normal dose steadily for five or six months before you have sex, for guaranteed protection. Which kind of bites. 
But taking a pill every morning is not a pain in the ass at all (like putting on deoderant or brushing your teeth. You just can’t forget, after a while), and it’s less risky than those new anti-pregnancy shots.</p>
<p>I’m on orthotricyclin (sp?) and I recommend it.</p>
