10th Grade Applicants!

Even 13-year-olds with 800s write like 13-year-olds. And do so without parental help. All you kids who did it on your own: you should feel proud of yourselves no matter what the outcome on March 10.

@twinsmama
Thank you so much for your kind words!

@2001JET
How are you approaching M10? I think I’m going to be too scared to even opened my email or walk outside in fear of seeing my mailbox that day…

@Center I made a pretty smooth transition. There are very few new sophomore girls this year, so I’ve fallen in with the kids that have been here and with a bunch of new freshmen. I’m used to working hard and planning my time, so the work hasn’t been much harder than I expected. Everyone here wants to help. :slight_smile:

Thanks Stargirl3! You are at Groton correct?

@Cadensa I’m approaching M10 really cautious. I’m extremely nervous about what the out come is going to be. I get my letter of rejection or acceptance from Deerfield at 8 am, so I can check it when I wake up. However, I don’t want to because I don’t want to get rejected, then have a bad mood all day, but on the other hand the anxiety would start to kill me. As for right now, I’m trying to keep myself busy with school, sports, and whatever else I can so I can keep my mind off of it. What about you?

@Center Yep! (For future reference, you’ll get a faster response if you tag me @stargirl3 in your post. :slight_smile: )

@2001JET In all honesty, I’ve been having nervous breakdowns all week. It’s gone to the point of M10 dreams, which I promise are NOT fun. I’m trying to get my parents to let me stay home that day, but they want me to progress with life as if everything is normal. It’s not bc M10!! I’m too scared to check in the morning, like you, because then I’ll be sad all day. But if I wait until after school, the stress and tension will kill me. What I fear the most is me checking in the middle of school though. I would probably lose control and check in the computer lab, then pass out. :-<

@stargirl3 gotcha!

We are going skiing! LOL. Might as well have fun either way :slight_smile:

Thee days left!!!
