i can't take this wait much longer...mnasbdchjbvajkdbvs.

just venting that's all :/!!!!!!

in an email to a teacher of mine...i used even 3 sentences to tell her i was legitly freaking out about UCB decisions...the email was suppose to be about my available hours for bio tutoring this semester.

2 hours until the superbowl, 1 wk till valentine’s day, 6 wks until god of war 3, 8 wks till MLB starts, 10 wks till nba playoffs. i guess i have several things to look forward to before berkeley decisions

saints by 7+ today btw. book it.
if i’m right i’ll get into berkeley

I guess I was the only one routing hardcore for the Colts here lol. But just in case anyone would like to join, please check out the link above and join the group I created commemorating Peyton and the Colts for their valiant season-long effort. I’m the admin for the group.

And lakerforever, I’m just curious, how did you already get into Berkeley? Or were you being sarcastic lol?

@ ucbhopeful, whoa! that’s a cool emphasis. I might consider double majoring in it w/ public health if i get in. How does this emphasis thing work?

What are the prereqs? It seems like American Studies 10 is the only one I need to take since I have the other 3 lower division done already. Is that it?

@edbraga Thanks! it’s a very broad major that allows such things as doubling and such–public health sounds great, i personally am planning on minoring in sociology. and i research the major, and to major in American Studies, you must declare an emphasis. they have a bunch of emphasises to choose from!

the pre-reqs are all the lower divisions and the american studies 10 course which isn’t offered anywhere :/

Im not even half way through the waiting period and its already killing me. I might not be alive by the time admissions decisions roll around. :/

Oh okay, might as well major in it. And yea, I applied public health. PH doesn’t seem like a very popular major… so hopefully my chances are still good even if it’s capped at cal. I shoulda applied american studies though, my chances would have been better but oh well. I’m not worried.

i talked to a rep…and they said they admitted 15 students last year who applied as public health… :'[. it was out of 50, and out of that 50, it depends who was really qualified enough…but it is tough to get into. blah. i’m sorry to bring it down on you like that…but it is pretty capped unfortunately :/
