11 more weeks for UCB :O!!!!!

hahaha, i just posted a similar thread before i saw yours.
the wait is seeeriously killinngggg meeeee!!!

^ do not even worry haha, i guess this could be the thread for such compulsive freaker-outers about APRIL 30TH!!!

today i was downtown, and visited the Cal Berkeley apparel and merchandise store…i’m definitely jumping the gun and buying a sweatshirt or shirt.

I feel like those waiting for UCB are more antsy than the people waiting on UCLA as their top choice.

Haha just sayin’.

does UCLA even have a solid date? i know it’s usually a wk or so before Berkeley decisions come out, but does anyone know the exact date and time?

i talked to my counselor and UCLA rep today to get TAP certified and both told me i’m almost 100% guaranteed to get accepted to communications studies :)

i sincerely just realized that we find out about all other UC’s in about a month…i could care less haha. At least up here at nor-cal, it’s been “i mean, i thought i’d just check off ucla just to see.” lol

@lakerforever24- NICE!

I’m legitimately interested in UCLA (and from norcal), but I just have more love for Berkeley. That is all.

Oh, and I agree, it does seem like we prospective “UCB-ers” are more antsy.

if i get into Cal, i really want to flip over a table. that or throw something, but i’m really digging this table idea.

Dude! That is an awesome idea lol. I’ve never really considered that…

With nervous tension I check the website while my hands tentatively punch in the appropriate keys. No minute hath felt so long. My sweaty palms and shaking legs ache as I closely peer into the screen; the moment of judgment has come.

The only word my mind can comprehend on the page at this point is the word that I have dreampt about for months: Congratulations. My heart begins to race and the euphoria I’m experiencing is indescribable.

In the heat of the great moment I lose control. I no longer feel pain, I no longer think logically, and I have an incredible and insatiable desire to flip over a table.

haha if you flip over a table, let me know! Who knows, I may do the same. Sounds like a pretty awesome idea.

I think Cal people are more antsy because we have the longest to wait!! Longer than other UC’s AND freshman admits! My best friend wants to transfer to USC and they don’t let some kids know until the end of May . . . I think I’d die by then.

SERIOUSLY. THE ANTICIPATION IS KILLING MEEEE.

Gah. How come Irvine already sent out results? haha

Oh oops I just realized this thread is in the transfers section. I’m not a transfer haha xD Good luck to you guys though! Eek!

Lucky freshman…You get to find out a whole month earlier…

^^ not really lucky. arent they decreasing freshman slots? haha

Ahh nice point. In that case, the wait would be my preferred option…if I had the option lol.

I decided to do P90x to make the wait go by faster (its a 90 day weight training program for those who dont know.) I dont know if I will get accepted, but I sure will be in good shape when that letter comes.

OMGGGGGGGGGG the anticipation is killing meee!!!

But just think how hard those poor ad coms have to work!! I don’ tknow when they “stop” reading applications, but I know they started february 1st. Say they go til march 31st, that’d mean that EVERYDAY they have to read at least 800. Every.day. (minus weekends)

That’s insanity! No wonder they start randomly admitting/rejecting people b/c the yprobably don’t give after awhile haa

Hopefully we’re not in the reject pile!
