Ok.... I'm taking AP classes so that I could possibly get the extra 30 credit hours without going to college to get those credits. I know that you can't repeat courses in going towards the 150 hour requirement. I am taking AP Calculus ab, which awards me with 5 hours in 180 MATH, assuming I pass the AP exam. Now I also want to take AP Calculus bc, which again awards me with 5 hours in Math 180. I would like to know if that would count as a repeat in courses. I've searched, but found no answers. If you know please tell me. Thanks....

I think Oxygen hit it on the head - you need to make sure your school will give credit for at least two classes if you take AB and BC. There is no way any accounting board is going to allow 10 hours for one class.

Planning your route to 150 is smart and its good you know that repeat classes won’t count with the State Board of Accountancy. Just remember that many states now have their own “unique” requirements regarding the number and type of accounting and business courses that must be included in the 150. In these states extra accounting classes over and above the requirements for your BBA must be taken - AP hours alone will not meet the requirement. (Most BBA programs include 24 accounting hours, some states now require 30-36 accounting hours.) In some states, the number and type of general business classes are also specified.

Be sure and check your your state board. This may or may not apply to you depending upon your state.

Good luck.
